Au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, la classification des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations est devenue tr\u00e8s \u00e0 la mode. Mais \u00e0 quoi \u00e7a rime tout \u00e7a ? Nous avons \u00e9tudi\u00e9 le sujet d\u2019un peu plus pr\u00e8s, et, surtout dans une perspective de recrutement, nous avons fait quelques constats int\u00e9ressants.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10087\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jobcloud.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/shutterstock_417884041-680x490.jpg\" alt=\"shutterstock_417884041\" width=\"676\" height=\"487\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un aper\u00e7u des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les sociologues divisent la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en 4 g\u00e9n\u00e9rations\u00a0: les baby-boomers, la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration X, la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y et la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z. Les diff\u00e9rentes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations sont ainsi un indicateur-cl\u00e9, indiquant la personnalit\u00e9 du candidat. Les \u00e9v\u00e9nements historiques, les nouveaut\u00e9s techniques et les changements sociaux ont une forte influence sur les diff\u00e9rentes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les Baby-boomers <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les personnes n\u00e9es entre 1946 et 1964 ont l\u2019habitude de travailler dur et attendent une r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration correspondante en contrepartie. Leur mani\u00e8re de travailler se distingue par un esprit de comp\u00e9tition et ils souhaitent \u00eatre appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s pour leur exp\u00e9rience. Leur assiduit\u00e9 et leur loyaut\u00e9 envers l\u2019employeur font d\u2019eux des collaborateurs pr\u00e9cieux pour l\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>La G\u00e9n\u00e9ration X<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les candidats n\u00e9s entre 1965 et 1980 priorisent les perspectives de carri\u00e8re lors de leurs recherches d\u2019emploi. N\u00e9anmoins, ils attendent \u00e9galement que le plaisir fasse partie de leur travail. Ils pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent les horaires de travail raisonnables et souhaitent des conditions de travail familiales. Leur travail n\u2019est donc pas le principal centre d\u2018int\u00e9r\u00eat dans leur vie ; ils travaillent pour vivre et non l\u2019inverse.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>La G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Appel\u00e9s \u00e9galement \u00ab\u00a0millennials\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0ou \u00ab\u00a0digital natives \u00bb, ils sont n\u00e9s entre 1981 et 2000. Ils recherchent libert\u00e9, individualit\u00e9, diversit\u00e9 et \u00e9quilibre travail\/vie priv\u00e9e. Cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration n\u2019est pas attir\u00e9e par les gros salaires ou le prestige. Ils privil\u00e9gient les t\u00e2ches emplies de sens, la responsabilit\u00e9, et la diversit\u00e9, et ont besoin d\u2019un mod\u00e8le de travail flexible, ainsi que des possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9volution. Ils veulent d\u2019abord vivre, avant de travailler.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>La G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La plus jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, n\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de l\u2019an 2000, est encore en formation, mais arrive bient\u00f4t sur le march\u00e9 du travail. Ces jeunes sont n\u00e9s dans une \u00e8re o\u00f9 la technologie domine le quotidien. L\u2019internet est le biais principal de leur communication et leurs interactions- que ce soit pour le priv\u00e9 ou le travail. Ils sont un peu plus r\u00e9alistes, plus prudents et plus orient\u00e9s s\u00e9curit\u00e9 que la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y. Pour eux, la vie et le travail doivent \u00eatre un processus fluide.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En th\u00e9orie, les valeurs et les besoins de ces quatre g\u00e9n\u00e9rations varient fortement sur le march\u00e9 du travail. Bien \u00e9videmment, ces traits de caract\u00e8res ne s\u2019appliquent pas tous \u00e0 chaque individu des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations correspondantes. Les attentes et les attitudes au sein d\u2019un m\u00eame groupe peuvent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes. M\u00eame un baby-boomer peut avoir envie de plus de libert\u00e9 et d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance, apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es de loyaut\u00e9 envers son employeur. N\u00e9anmoins, ce n\u2019est certainement pas une co\u00efncidence si le focus des jeunes entrepreneurs est principalement sur le travail qui a du sens, et que les cultures de conduite hi\u00e9rarchiques et traditionnelles sont en voie de disparition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La classification des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations peut \u00eatre un outil utile pour les responsables RH, afin de mieux comprendre les candidats et les collaborateurs. Cependant, les RH ne doivent pas n\u00e9gliger l\u2019historique individuel d\u2019un candidat lors d\u2019un recrutement. La classification par g\u00e9n\u00e9ration donne uniquement un cadre, afin d\u2019attirer les candidats souhait\u00e9s dans l\u2019entreprise.
